International MSME day 2021 was celebrated virtually organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Mangaluru branch of Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in association with The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI – Karnataka State Council, Bengaluru), Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Mangaluru, Atal Incubation Centre, Nitte. Webinar on ‘Funding Options and Schemes & Incentives for MSMEs & Start Ups’ were conducted. KCCI President Shri Isaac Vas was one of panellists addressed the audience. Dr. Ananthapadmanabha Achar, CEO, AIC Nitte, Incubation Centre was also the panellists who addressed the members. Shri Yogish Acharya, General Manager -Canara Bank, Mangalore circle was the chief guest. COASTAL VISION GROUP constituted by Govt. of Karnataka after its first virtual meeting on May 10, 2021 has been holding meetings on alternate Mondays. Karnataka Udyoga Mitra (KUM) officials participated in the initial two meetings. Tourism, Fisheries, Maritime, Cashew development sub-committees are formed. Shri Isaac Vas, President, KCCI, Shri Nandagopal Shenoy, Director, KCCI, Capt. J.P. Menezes, Past President, KCCI, Smt. Vathika Pai, Past President KCCI, Shri Ullas Kamath, Chairman, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Karnataka, Shri Ashwin Srirangraj, FICCI were present.
