4-10-2024	–	10.30 a. m.	–	The outlet for cotton dress materials and readymade men’s clothing, ‘Cottonking’, was inaugurated at Alfa Towers, Hampankatta, Mangaluru. Cottonking’s Director, Shri Koushik Marathe, along with Shri Walter Nandalike, Founder and Managing Director of Daijiworld Media Pvt. Ltd., the Chief Guest on the occasion inaugurated the new outlet. The Guests of Honour for the event were, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor, Hon. Secretary, KCCI, Shri John B. Monteiro, President, Rachana – Catholic Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Dr. S.M. 14-10-2024	–	5.00 p. m.	–	President of KCCI, Shri Anand G. Pai met the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada District, Shri Mullai Muhilan M.P, IAS and introduced himself as the newly elected President of Chamber. He also apprised the DC about Chamber activities and the focus areas for the year 2024-25 and also invited him to the Chamber. KCCI Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Hon. Secretaries, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai were present on the occasion.
15-10-2024	–	4.00 p. m.	–	KCCI Immediate Past President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu virtually attended the First Board Meeting of Mangalore SEZ Ltd.
16-10-2024	–	4.30 p. m.	–	The Seventh Meeting of the Board of Directors of KCCI for the financial year 2024-25 and the First Meeting of the new Board committee of KCCI was held at the Board Room of KCCI. Shri Anand G Pai, newly elected President, chaired the meeting in the presence of other Office Bearers and Directors
17-10-2024	–	11.30 a. m.	–	Valmiki Jayanti was celebrated by offering floral tribute to the photograph of Maharishi Valmiki at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner’s office, Mangaluru. Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Santhosh Kumar and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. KCCI Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A attended the event.
18-10-2024	–	9.15 a. m.	–	KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the three days soft skills camp for Vidyakalpaka Scholars, ‘Kshitij’ at World Konkani Centre (WKC), Mangaluru. World Konkani Centre, Chairman and Director of KCCI, CA Nandagopal Shenoy and other dignitaries were present on stage. Others present on the occasion were CA Jayanth Shenoy Nagar, Shri M. Ganesh Bhat, GST Practitioner and Past Treasurer of KCCI, CA U.S. Surendra Nayak, Shri Sujir Prasad Nayak, Director, KCCI, Dr. Kulyadi Girish Pai, Associate Professor, MAHE, Shri Vedamurthy B. Ganapathy Bhat and Dr. B. Devdas Pai, Chief Administrative Officer, WKC.
		4.00 p. m.	–	Shri Ganesh Koran, President of Dakshina Kannada Contractors and Suppliers Association (R), an affiliated body of KCCI called on the Chairman of KCCI GST sub-committee, CA Keshav N. Ballakuraya to discuss about the issues faced by their members with regard to notices received from state GST department demanding payment of state GST along with penalties and interest. KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai, KCCI Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and other members of the association were present.
		8.00 p. m.	–	KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai was the speaker at the Rotary Club of Mangalore Central, the event held at Hotel Moti Mahal, Mangaluru. He spoke on Economic and Community Development. He was also felicitated on his appointment as the new President of KCCI. Present on the occasion were the President of Rotary Club, Rtn. 21-10-2024	–	10.30 a. m. and 11.30 a. m.	–	President Shri Anand G. Pai, Vice President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Chairman of GST Sub Committee of KCCI, CA Keshava N. Ballakuraya, KCCI Past Treasurer, Shri M Ganesh Bhat and Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A met the Commissioner of Central Tax and GST, Mangaluru, Shri S. Keshava Narayana Reddy and Joint Commissioner (Admin) State GST, Mangaluru, Shri Kumara V., and Joint Commissioner (Enforcement), State GST, Mangaluru, Shri Laxmipathi Narayana Naik and briefed them about KCCI activities and requested them to conduct seminar for our members on various relevant topics for the benefit of trade and commerce.
24-10-2024	–	9.30 a. m.	–	Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) organized their 4^th edition of Mangaluru’s Technovanza 2024 at Dr. TMA Pai International Convention Centre, Mangaluru. KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai, Directors, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar and Shri Ashith Hegde attended the event.
25-10-2024	–	10.00 a. m.	–	Renewal of MoU between KCCI and Justice K. S. Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte was held at KCCI. The MoU was exchanged between KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai and Director of Justice K. S. Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte, Dr. Sudhir M. Present on the occasion were KCCI Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and Assistant Prof. Dr. Nidhish of the college.
		10.30 a. m.	–	KCCI hosted an interactive meeting of members with FDI representative of State of Pennsylvania, Ms. Supriya Kanetkar, Director, Pennsylvania Trade & Investment Office – India at the Meeting Hall of KCCI. KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai presented the welcome address. Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar introduced Ms. Supriya Kanetkar to the delegates present. Ms. Supriya Kanetkar addressed the delegates on various trade opportunities at the State of Pennsylvania, USA. The Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor rendered the vote of thanks. Hon. Treasurer, CA Abdur Rahman Musba was also present on stage. KCCI Immediate Past President, CA Ananthesh V. 		11.30 a. m.	–	The First Meeting of the ‘Enhancing Member Engagement’, Focus Area of KCCI for the year 2024-25 was convened at the Board Room of KCCI. The meeting was chaired by Shri Ajay Prabhu, Head of this Focus Area. The meeting was attended by KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai, Vice-President, Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar, Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor, Directors, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Shri N. Dasharath Shetty, Shri Sujir Prasad Nayak and Shri Amith Ramachandra.
		2.30 p. m.	–	Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organized a session on Profitability Analysis, Business Planning & Valuation by Shri Ashutosh Kharangate, Managing Director and Shri Avdhut Padwalkar, Assistant Manager, Mangal Analytics and Research Consulting (MARC) at Ajantha Business Centre, Mangaluru. KCCI Im. Past President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu attended the event.
29-10-2024	–	10.00 a. m.	–	The inauguration of Certificate Course in GST Taxation was organized by the Dept. of Commerce and Management & IQAC of Sri Bhuvanandra College, Karkala in association with KCCI. The event was inaugurated by CA Shivananda Pai, Sri Bhuvanandra College Governing Council. The Guests of Honour on the occasion were, KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai and the Chairman of GST sub-committee of KCCI, CA Keshava N. Ballakuraya. The event was presided over by the Principal of the college, Dr. Manjunath A. Kotian.
		10.30 a. m.	–	Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) held Vendors’ Meet 2024 at Dr. TMA Pai International Convention Centre, Mangaluru. MRPL Managing Director, Shri Mundkur Shyamprasad Kamath and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. KCCI was represented by its Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar and Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A.
		7.00 p. m.	–	KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai, met the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada District, Shri Mullai Muhilan M.P, IAS at his office and briefed him about the non-availability of pre-paid auto rickshaw services after 9.00 p.m until early morning in Mangaluru Central Railway station causing huge inconvenience to the passengers arriving at the station. A memorandum was submitted to DC in this regard. KCCI Director, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed was also present on the occasion.
01-11-2024	–	10.30 a. m.	–	The Kumble Group celebrated Dhana Laxmi Pooja on the occasion of Deeepawali by inaugurating their renovated corporate office at Balmatta, Mangaluru by Dr. Kumble Ananth Prabhu, Professor of Surgery, Yenepoya Medical College, Mangaluru. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Shri Anand G. Pai, President, KCCI. Shri Kumble Narasimha Prabhu, Managing Director of Kumble Group (Past President of KCCI) welcomed the guests on the occasion and briefed the members on various services offered by them which includes, Kumble Investment & Financial Services, Kumble Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd., and Solar Trade Links. The CEO of the company, Shri Kumble Vignesh Prabhu presented the vote of thanks. KCCI immediate Past President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu was also present on the occasion.
		11.30 a. m.	–	Preparatory meeting on the celebration of Dakshina Kannada District’s Karavali Utsav 2024-25 was called by the Minister for District In-charge & Health and Family Welfare, Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao at the Deputy Commissioner’s office. Mangaluru. Various stakeholders were invited for the meeting and suggestions were taken. Present on the occasion were Member of Parliament of D.K Dist., Capt. Brijesh Chowta, MLA of Mangaluru City North, Shri Y. Bharat Shetty, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada District, Shri Mullai Muhilan, IAS, Police Commissioner, Shri Anupam Agrawal and other political dignitaries. KCCI was represented by its President, Shri Anand G. Pai.
		3.00 p. m.	–	KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai attended the opening ceremony of Coastal Karnataka Sailing Club at Tannir Bavi Beach Road, Mangaluru.
		4.00 p. m.	–	Vigilance Awareness Week was organized by the Office of Commissioner of Customs at New Customs House, Mangaluru. Commissioner of Customs, Mangaluru, Ms. P. Vinitha Sekhar presented the welcome address on this occasion. KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai was one of the Guest Speakers who spoke on their theme on “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity’. The other Guest Speakers on the occasion were, Shri Praveen Bangera, President, Steamer Agents Association, Mangaluru and Shri Philip C. C., President, CHA Association, Mangaluru. Present on the occasion were Director and Chairman of EXIM sub-committee of KCCI, Shri Jeethan Allen Sequeira and KCCI Director, Shri Ajay Prabhu.
05-11-2024	–	11.00 a. m.	–	RTO, Mangaluru conducted the meeting at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner’s office, Mangaluru. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada District, Shri Mullai Muhilan MP, IAS. Mangaluru Police Commissioner, Shri Anupam Agrawal and other dignitaries were present on stage. KCCI Vice-President, Shri P.B. 		3.30 p. m.	–	Renewal of MoU between KCCI and Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, Mijar was held at KCCI. The MoU were exchanged between Shri Anand G. Pai, KCCI President and Dr. Guruprasad Pai, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Business Administration of the college. Present on the occasion were KCCI Vice-President, Shri P.B. 06-11-2024	–	9.00 a. m.	–	KCCI organized GST Certificate Course training programme for the students of Sri Bhuvanendra College, Karkala which will be held twice a week for a month. CA Sabana started the session which will cover various topics with many professional trainers during the coming weeks.
07-11-2024	–	11.00 a. m.	–	Jaquar Group opened their showroom at M. S. Pai & Co at Mangaluru. Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai, Managing Partner of M. S. Pai & Co. and Hon. Secretary of KCCI welcomed the dignitaries. The event was inaugurated by Shri Anand G. Pai, President of KCCI. The Guest of Honour for the event was Shri M. T. Hegde, Zonal Head, Jaquar Group.
08-11-2024	–	11.00 a. m.	–	Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was organized by Trisha college at their new campus in Mangaluru. MoU was exchanged between the KCCI President Shri Anand G. Pai and Principal, Trisha College of Commerce & Management, Prof. Manjunatha Kamath M. and Principal of Trisha Evening College, Prof. Suprabha M. Others present on stage were KCCI Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor, Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A, Founder of Trisha Group of Institutions, CA Gopala Krishna Bhat and Academic Advisor, Dr. Narayana Kayarkatte. KCCI President addressed the students on this occasion.
		4.30 p. m.		The Eighth Meeting of the Board of Directors of KCCI for the financial year 2024-25 and the Second Meeting of the new Committee was held at the Board room of KCCI. Shri Anand G. Pai, President chaired the meeting in the presence of other Office Bearers, Directors and special invitees.
11-11-2024	–	10.00 a. m.	–	KCCI inaugurated its Meeting Hall and Gallery of Trade History of Bunder by the Past Presidents of KCCI. KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai was joined by the Im. Past President of KCCI, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu and other Past Presidents, Shri R.D. Kini, Shri Kumble Narasimha Prabhu, Shri T. Subbaya Shetty, Shri Jeevan Saldanha, Shri Nigam B. Vasani, Shri G G Mohandas Prabhu, Shri Isaac Vas, Smt. Vathika Pai, Shri Shashidhar Pai Maroor and Shri Ganesh Kamath. KCCI President, Shri Anand G. Pai delivered the welcome address. KCCI Im. Past President under whose tenure the renovation work was conceptualized was felicitated. Ar. 13-11-2024	–	10.00 a. m.	–	KCCI organized a seminar on various topics under GST at the Meeting Hall of KCCI. KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai delivered the welcome address. The Chairman of GST Sub-committee of KCCI, CA Keshava N Ballakuraya addressed the members. Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar introduced the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour to the audience. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Shri Kumara V., Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Admin), State Goods & Service Tax Department, Mangaluru. The Guest of Honour was Shri Lakshapathi Narayana Naik, Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Enforcement), West Zone, Mangaluru who addressed the members. The three speakers for the session was introduced by KCCI Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A. Shri Mahesh N Bagil, Asst. Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Audit)-5, Mangaluru spoke on topic, New Amensty Scheme under GST for waiver of interest and penalty. Shri Sanjay Balipa, Asst. Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, LGSTO-270, Mangaluru spoke on the topic, RCM for rent of Immovable property/metal scrap, TDS on Metal Scrap and other important decisions of 53rd and 54th GST Council meeting and Shri K.P. Subbaiah, Asst. Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, (Enforcement)-2, Mangaluru spoke on the topic, Common errors and mistakes in E Way Bill leading to penalty by the Enforcement Department. KCCI Hon. 		3.30 p. m.	–	Citizen’s Council, Mangaluru Chapter organized an informal interaction with the Finance Minister, Govt. of India, Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman at TV Raman Pai Convention Centre, Mangaluru. KCCI Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar attended the event.
		8.00 p. m.	–	KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai called on the Union Minister for Finance, Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman and the Member of Parliament of Dakshina Kannada District, Capt. Brijesh Chowta at Circuit House, Mangaluru. President briefed the Minister about the need for bigger space and better infrastructure for Centre for Entrepreneurship Opportunities & Learning (CEOL) to cater to the needs of many start-ups. 14-11-2024	–	9.00 a .m.	–	Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mangaluru organized Integrate 2024: Connecting New Business – a platform designed to empower MSMEs through collaboration, innovation, and growth at Hotel Avatar, Mangaluru. The conclave featured insightful discussions, valuable networking, and an exclusive exhibition showcasing solutions and innovations from key industry players. KCCI Hon. Treasurer, CA Abdur Rahman Musba was one the panellists and KCCI Im. Past President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu was the moderator for one of the panel discussions. KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai, Hon. Secretary, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor, Directors, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed and Shri B. A. Nazir attended the event.
		4.30 p. m.	–	KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai called on the Member of Parliament (MP), Dakshina Kannada Dist., Capt. Brijesh Chowta at Circuit House, Mangaluru. President along with Hon. Secretaries, Shri Ashwin Pai Maoor and Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai and Director, Ms. Athmika Amin presented a memorandum to MP with regard to establishing a High Court bench in Mangaluru and also with regard to the road repair stretching from Maranahalli to Addahole falling under NH 75. KCCI Director and Head of Elevating Brand Mangaluru, the Focus area of KCCI, Ms Athmika Amin also presented to MP a proposal to showcase and advertise Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts to promote tourism and other activities benefiting the trade and commerce and employability in the region.
16-11-2024	–	10.00 a. m.	–	KCCI organized a seminar on Startups at the Meeting Hall of KCCI. President of KCCI, Shri Anand G. Pai delivered the welcome address. Chairman of Startups sub-committee of KCCI, Shri Vishwas Shishir addressed the gathering. Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar introduced the speakers to the audience. The session on Enabling Startups – Roles of Industry, Academia and Government was presented by Ms. Poyni Bhatt, Former CEO and Founding Member of Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (SINE), IIT Bombay, Member of Maharashtra State Innovation & Technology Development Fund and National Entrepreneurship Advisory Committee, DST, Govt. of India and Board Member at IIT Dharwad Incubator. Shri Rohith Bhat, Founder wrkwrk/99 Games/Robosoft, Founding President, TiE Mangaluru delivered a talk on Silicon Beach Program – Building our future, while preserving our culture without destroying our nature. KCCI organized an Interactive meeting with FDI representative of the State of Pennsylvania, Ms. Supriya Kanetkar, Director, Pennsylvania Trade & Investment Office – India on Friday, 25th October, 2024 at the Meeting Hall of KCCI, Mangaluru.

Ms. Supriya Kanetkar addressed the delegates about the opportunities of setting up the business by Indian companies in the US and also the US companies investing in India. She highlighted about the technological developments / offers / growth sectors / business assistance programmes in the state of Pennsylvania.

06-08-2024	–	10.00 a. m.	–	KCCI Director, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed was the Speaker at the Seminar on the theme, ‘Aqua Feeds and Feeding’ conducted by US Grains Council for the Aquaculture at Taj Vivanta, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. He spoke on the topic “Raw Material Scenario for Aqua Feed”. It was attended by multiple stakeholders from the Aqua Feed Industry to meet and collaborate for growth of the industry
12-08-2024	–	03.30 p. m.	–	The Fourth Meeting of the Elevating Brand Mangaluru, Focus Area of KCCI for the year 2023-24 was convened at the Conference Room of KCCI. The meeting was chaired by the Chairperson of this Focus Area, Ms. Athmika Amin. The meeting was attended by KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu, Vice-President, Shri Anand G Pai, Hon. 22-08-2024	–	7.30 p. m.	–	KCCI organized an interactive meeting with Captain Brijesh Chowta, Member of Parliament (MP), Dakshina Kannada District at Hotel Avatar, Mangaluru. KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V. Prabhu delivered the welcome address. KCCI Vice-President Shri Anand G Pai introduced the MP to the audience. The Office Bearers of KCCI felicitated the MP. President presented the memorandum to the MP and Director of KCCI, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar read the key points of memorandum to the audience. The vote of thanks was rendered by Hon. 11-09-2024	–	11.00 a. m.	–	Inauguration of Bio-metric Authentication of GST (Central) i.e. CGST Suvidha Kendra was held at GST Taxpayers Facilitation Centre, Mangaluru. It was inaugurated by Shri S.K. Narayana Reddy, Commissioner of Central Tax, Mangaluru Commissionerate. CA Keshava Ballakuraya, KCCI GST Sub-committee Chairman, attended the event.
12-09-2024	–	10.30 a. m.	–	The AIC Nitte Incubation Center, in partnership with the Institution Innovation Council of Nitte Deemed to be University, launched Karavali Startup Programme 2024 at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Mangaluru to inspire youth entrepreneurship and boost the Karavali region’s profile. Dr. G. Santhosh Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dakshina Kannada Dist. was the guest for the event who inaugurated the programme. Dr. Shantharam Shetty, Pro Chancellor, Nitte (DU) and Shri Nandakumar V, Director (Refinery), MRPL were also the guests on the occasion. The meeting was Chaired by Shri Gokuldas Nayak, Joint Director, DIC, Mangaluru. Heads of various trade associations were present in the meeting. KCCI was represented by its Director, Shri B.A. Nazeer.

21-09-2024	–	11.00 a. m.	–	Mangalore International Airport Ltd., (MIAL) hosted KCCI officials at their venue. Shri Mukesh Nankani, Chief Airport Officer, Mangaluru International Airport Ltd. (MIAL) and Shri Vipin Nair, HR Manager, MAIL welcomed CA Ananthesh V Prabhu, President, KCCI and Shri Anand G Pai, Vice President, KCCI and other accompanying KCCI delegates, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Hon. Secretary, KCCI, Shri B.A. Nazeer and Shri Vincent Cutina, Directors, KCCI and Shri Mytreya A, Chief Operating Officer, KCCI. The airport officials presented the road map of development projects of the airport including safety and attracting more travellers to and fro Mangaluru. KCCI dignitaries were taken around the airport showing them the passenger amenities and cargo facilities benefitting domestic and international trade.
		06.30 p. m.	–	The 65th National Symposium with the theme “Sustainable Livestock Sector: Threats, Challenges and Opportunities.” Was held by Compound Feed Manufacturers Association (CLFMA) of India, an association of livestock industry held at Hotel Novotel, Goa. KCCI Director, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed was elected as the Hon. Secretary. Union Minister, Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Chairman of CLFMA India, Shri Suresh Deora and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
25-09-2024	–	3.00 p. m.	–	54th GST Council Meeting Recommendations & RCM Under GST was organized by Directorate General of Taxpayer Services (DGTS) Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs Bengaluru Zonal Unit, in association with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Kerala State Council, Kerala Merchants Chamber of Commerce (KMCC), Kerala, Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association (KSCAA), Karnataka, Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCC&I), Kerala, Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Mangaluru, Tumakuru District Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TDCCI), Tumakuru. The distinguished speaker on the occasion was Shri Amar Kumar Sinha, I.R.S., Additional Director General, Directorate General of Taxpayer Services, Bengaluru Zonal Unit. 27-09-2024	–	4.00 p. m.	–	84th Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) of the Members of KCCI was held at the Meeting Hall of KCCI with the participation of members. Outgoing President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu addressed the members.
		6.00 p. m.	–	Shri Anand G. Pai was elected as the new President of KCCI at the conclusion of 84th Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) of the Members of KCCI. Shri Anand G. Pai is the Executive Director of M/s Bharath Beedi Works Private Limited, Mangalore. He started his Professional career through his family business and took charge of Strategic Planning and Diversification of Bharath Group. He completed schooling in Mangalore. He graduated as Industrial Production Engineer from Andrews University Michigan, U.S.A. and later pursued Masters in Software Engineering from the same University. Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar was elected as the Vice-President, CA Abdur Rahman Musba as the Honorary Treasurer, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai were elected as Honorary Secretaries. Shri B. A. Nazeer, Shri Divakar Pai Kochikar, Shri Nissar Fakeer Mohammed, Shri Amith Ramachandra, Ms. M. Athmika Amin, Shri Ashith B. 01-10-2024	–	10.30 a. m.	–	Delegates from Mangalore Bar Association (R.) called on KCCI President, Shri Anand G Pai at the Conference Room of KCCI and submitted a memorandum seeking KCCI support for setting up of the Bangalore High Court bench in Mangaluru, a long awaited need of the litigants of Mangaluru and other coastal region. Congress MLC, Shri Ivan D’Souza accompanied by the Mangalore Bar Association President, Shri H.V. Raghavendra felicitated Shri Anand G Pai on taking over as the new President of KCCI. KCCI Vice-President, Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar, Hon. Secretaries, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and Shri Aditya Pai, Chairman of KCCI Alternative Dispute Resolution, Sub-committee of KCCI, Prof. CA Lionel Aranha and Chief Operating Officer, Shri Mytreya A were present at the meeting. The 84^th Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) of the Members of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (the Chamber) was held on September 27, 2024 at the Registered Office of the Chamber situated at Chamber Building, Bunder, Mangaluru. Shri Anand G. Pai was elected as the new President of KCCI. Shri P. B. Ahmed Mudassar was elected as the Vice-President, CA Abdur Rahman Musba as the Honorary Treasurer, Shri Ashwin Pai Maroor and Shri Aditya Padmanabha Pai were elected as Honorary Secretaries. Shri B.
