The workshop was inaugurated by Mr Devaraj K, IEDS, Joint Director, Branch MSME Development & Facilitation Office Ministry of MSME, Govt of India & Mr Mukund Kamath, Chairman & Managing Director, Ideal Ice cream Private Limited. Prominent speakers at the session included, Mr Prakash Kalbavi, Forum Chair, CII Mangaluru Entrepreneurs Development Forum & Managing Director, Kalbavi Consumer Foods Pvt, Mr Ajith Kamath, Chairman, CII Mangaluru District & Managing Director, Ajith Enterprises, Mr Anand G Pai, President, Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr Natraj Hegde, Vice Chairman, CII Mangaluru District, CEO, S N Cryogenics Pvt Ltd & Mr Gaurav Hegde, Past Chairman, CII Mangaluru & Managing Director, G R Stone Specialties Pvt Ltd.
The workshop concluded with a valedictory address by Capt. Brijesh, Chowta, Member of Parliament, Dakshina Kannada who applauded CII Mangaluru for its impactful initiatives. He encouraged entrepreneurs to leverage government schemes for business growth and presented certificates to the participants. Around 55 micro entrepreneurs benefited through this 2 days’ workshop.
