KCCI organised a Seminar on Financial Fitness with Work-Life Harmony for Women Entrepreneurs on Friday, 19^th January, 2024 at 2.30 p.m. at KCCI Meeting Hall, Mangaluru. ‘EmpowHer: Mastering Financial Strategies for Women Entrepreneurs’ session was presented by speaker Ms. Sapna Shenoy, Investment Services Professional & ‘Work Life Balance’ session by Dr. Supriya Hegde Aroor, Prof & HOD, FMCC, Consultant Psychiatrist, Arogya Polyclinic and followed by Panel Discussion. The speakers for the panel discussion were Dr. Vindhya Pai, Dermatologist, The Skin Clinic and Managing Trustee – The Bharath Academy, Mrs. Harina Rao, Past President of DSIAM Women’s Wing, Present Chairperson of DSIAM – STRIVE, Mrs. Shirly Cutinha, Executive Director, Provit Foods Pvt. Ltd. Smt. Vatika Pai, Past President of KCCI and Present Chairperson of Evolve was the moderator for the panel discussion.

KCCI Sports Day and Mela 2024 was inaugurated by the KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu at Centenary Ground, St. Aloysius College, Mangaluru on Sunday, 14th January, 2024 at 8.30 a.m. The Board of Directors and the members with their families actively participated in the sports events.

KCCI Knowledge Centre was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Prof (Dr) M. S. Moodithaya, Vice-Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be) University, Mangaluru on 13th January, 2024 at 10.30 a.m. at Centre of Excellence Hall, World Konkani Centre, Shaktinagar, Mangaluru who also inaugurated the video by KCCI on Brand Mangaluru.

Branch MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, Mangaluru in association with KCCI organized a Seminar on MSME Competitive (LEAN) Scheme on Wednesday, 10th January, 2024 at 2.30 p.m at KCCI Meeting Hall, Mangaluru. Chief Guest on the occasion was Sri Kiran, Chief General Manager, ONGC – MRPL, Mangaluru. The event was presided by Sri Devaraj K, IEDS, Joint Director, Br. MSME DFO, Mangaluru who addressed the gathering. Technical sessions were presented by the Speakers, Sri Swarupan Das, Deputy Director and Head, National Productivity Council, Bengaluru, Dr. S M Jagadish, Consultant, Bengaluru and Shri Sahasranam Krishnan, Founder, MD – Cimtrix Systems (P) Ltd, Bangalore. Also present on stage, Smt Sruthi GK, Assistant Director, Br. MSME DFO, Mangaluru.

KCCI organised a Seminar on NSE Emerge – Igniting SME Success on 15th December, 2023 by the resource person, Shri Himanshu Srivastava, Senior Manager, National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. at the KCCI Meeting Hall, Mangaluru.

Dr. B. V. Muralikrishna, Additional Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (e-Governance), Commercial Taxes. Dept., Govt. of Karnataka, called in KCCI President, CA Ananthesh V Prabhu at the Conference room of KCCI. The President felicitated him as he is due for retirement in December 2023. Others present in the meeting were KCCI Vice President, Hon. Secretaries, Directors, Past President and other members of the GST Sub-Committee and a few delegates from MRPL.
